This enchanting performance blends Kaki King’s creative guitar
projection mapping, colorful visuals, and modern music with the
wonders of nature, helping young students explore ecology and the
animal kingdom. Through this interactive experience, students will
connect to the performing arts, science (bugs, sugar, healthy eating,
and our connection to nature), and technology (light mapping and
projection design), all while fostering curiosity, awareness, and a love
for the natural world.

HARE AND TORTOISE

Two unlikely friends — the speedy, confident Hare and the calm,
steady Tortoise — meet for the greatest race on Earth. A race filled
with suspense, surprises, and a nail-biting, medal-winning finish. This
playful adaptation of Aesop’s classic fable is brought to life on stage
by three talented actors, musicians and a whole lot of energy. This
heartwarming tale explores patience, friendship, and what it means
to grow up.

“Cows that type? Hens on strike! Whoever heard of such a thing!”
Farmer Brown cries. When his granddaughter Jenny comes for a visit,
he declares the farm a tech-free zone. He takes her laptop into the
cold barn where the cows use her computer to type notes requesting
blankets. “No blankets,” he replies. So, the cows go on strike and the
chickens join them in solidarity. Find out what happens next in this
musical about negotiation and compromise.
