WELCOME
Welcome to the 2026-2027 Kravis Center Education season where we
will explore imagination, innovation, and inspiration. We have carefully
curated our offerings to support B.E.S.T. Standards and Skills for Learning
& Life (SLL). Your curricular and instructional needs are the basis of our
programming decisions, and we are committed to supporting your work.
This season, beginning with our August 22 Teacher On-Sale date, we launch
the 35th year of our S*T*A*R (Students and Teachers Arts Resource)
Series. We continue to refine our online ticket ordering process and it is
our goal to provide you with a more intuitive and expedited experience.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Center always covers the cost of
field trip transportation for Palm Beach County public schools.
We are honored to bring you the very best in Theatre for Young Audiences
to educate and engage your students. We’ll feature a brand-new musical adaptation of the classic
children’s book, The Velveteen Rabbit, from our friends at Playhouse Square in Cleveland
called Velveteen; a reimagined and playful musical version of Aesop’s fable The Boy Who Cried
Wolf from Tutti Frutti of Leeds, England; and a traditional puppetry tale that explores the history
of Mexico through a Day of the Dead story La Chorcha de las Calacas from Marionetas de la
Esquina of Mexico City.
For students in grades 8-12, we’re once again offering the popular and culturally relevant one-person
musical journey Where Did We Sit on the Bus?; we’ll celebrate the contributions of women in
science with Unsung Genius: Heroines of Science by multi-Emmy Award-Winning Janet’s Planet;
and we’ll honor the Bard with a newly revised production of Macbeth by Palm Beach Shakespeare
Festival. We are always thrilled to welcome you and your students back for a memorable live
performance experience that inspires conversation and learning.
Enjoy the show!
Warmly,
Tracy C. Butler
