Kravis Education offers a diverse array of instructional opportunities for educators through the arts
including workshops, residencies and special engagements throughout the academic year. School
District of Palm Beach County teachers can accrue in-service credit for demonstrating implementation
of strategies acquired through training and coaching sessions.

SCIENCE THROUGH ART!
Tuesday, November 3 from 9am to 12pm
Workshop Leader: Lindsey Wuest
Botany through brush strokes, gravity through paint splatter,
ecology through collage: Science through Art! Spark curiosity
through creativity using the magic of K-12 art to inspire
enthusiastic engagement in the learning of science topics.
At the heart of the program lies a sense of place; each project
is inspired by our unique South Florida environment, current
events & pop culture. Science through Art! makes learning
relevant, hands-on and accessible to students of all academic
abilities and artistic skill levels.
LET’S BUILD! THE ART OF PAPER SCULPTURE
Wednesday, February 24 from 9am to 12pm
Workshop Leader: Kay Thomas
Join Kay Thomas, sculpture artist from Texas, for this deep art
experience guaranteed to reveal the builders in your classroom
and give three-dimensional thinkers a voice. Designed primarily
for educators and students, it teaches participants how to bend,
fold and roll everyday paper into sculptural models as a means of
expression that can represent many STEAM, history and literacy
concepts.
EDUCATOR RECOGNITION NIGHT
March 11, 2027 at 6:30pm
We’ve planned a special evening just for you! Join
us for a pre-performance reception with hors
d’oeuvres catered by Kravis Events by Lessing’s,
followed by a Kravis On Broadway performance
of SIX: THE MUSICAL. The evening will also include
recognition of our Educator of the Year!
This free event is open to all current Palm Beach
County educators. Limit one ticket per educator;
registration is first come, first served.
