community, the Kravis Center brings classroom curricula to life for thousands of local students each
year through the S*T*A*R Series. Offering access to a diverse array of top-quality programming.
These performances provide exposure to live theater, spark classroom discussion, enhance
classroom studies and stimulate the curiosity of young minds.

Dan + Claudia Zanes introduce young people to songs and the
stories behind them while providing creative ideas to help everyone
find their way inside the music. The performances are uplifting and
interactive and part concert, part history lesson, part music class,
part campfire sing-along dance party. Dan + Claudia offer young
people of various ability levels a chance to experience music in a
way that feels exciting, healing, relevant . . . and totally enjoyable!

Young Yeila dreams of being a superstar but her lack of confidence
gives her awful stage fright. With advice from her mother and
mentors, Yeila begins her journey to find her roots, get confidence
and be amazing! Travel with Yeila who visits her grandmother in
Cuba to add a salsa flavor to her own hip-hop style! The audience
gets to dance along in this dynamic participation play where one
actress creates three generations of lively women.
